West Heath
Calm
Designed for a detached family home in Barnet, this bespoke kitchen was developed in collaboration with Kia Designs. The brief called for a calm, contemporary space focused on usability, with detailing and storage that support everyday routines while maintaining a sense of ease.
The layout is anchored by a sculptural island with a cantilevered Corian worktop, which plays a central role in the design. Mitred to a generous thickness and finished with a soft bullnose edge, the worktop appears to float above the cabinetry, bringing a sense of lightness while remaining robust enough for daily use.
Integrated solid timber storage has been designed around daily use, with bespoke compartments for knives, coffee equipment and plate racks, alongside discreet pull-out step stools to improve accessibility. Finished in Little Greene Stock with bespoke stained oak veneer cabinetry, the palette balances softness with depth, resulting in a kitchen that feels considered, practical and quietly confident.
