Inside a Contemporary Palladium Villa in Chelsea

For our Fernshaw project, the clients wanted their Chelsea Palladium villa to embrace everyday living and provide areas for entertainment and relaxation, aiming to fill the home with warmth and character. HUX, in collaboration with Zulufish, took on the task to design and craft joinery throughout the house, modernising the space while maintaining its inherent architectural beauty.

The ground floor and first floor hallways are adorned with our bespoke contemporary applied beading panelling, providing a canvas for the clients’ vibrant artwork.

In the heart of the formal living area, HUX has installed a breathtaking central fireplace wall, enveloped in the sleek elegance of Salvatori tiles. This feature not only anchors the room but also serves as a work of art, drawing the eye with its striking vertical lines and monochromatic palette.

The statement grey, eucalyptus veneer unit with brass detailing is a masterful piece that elegantly divided a lengthy corridor into a home bar and cleverly designed library.

This HUX bespoke bar, with its fluted glass detailing and brass accents, offers a sophisticated hub for home entertaining. It showcases an interplay of textures with mirror adding depth and reflection, while the distinctive doorstyle, featuring a geometric metal design, offers a modern twist on classic luxury.

On the lower ground floor next to the kitchen, HUX has masterfully designed and crafted a casual living space, featuring spray-painted reeded wall panelling and a sleek, minimalist floating TV unit.

The area is further enhanced by bespoke tan and blue banquette seating with built-in storage, creating a perfect spot for the family to enjoy relaxed meals.

Between the ground and first floor, we installed custom shelved storage, optimising the home’s footprint and crafting a dedicated study that embodies smart design and efficiency.

The journey continues upstairs into the master suite. We created built-in wardrobes featuring a mix of grooved and micro-shaker doors, complemented by inset metal-effect wallpaper.

The thoughtful addition of a walk-in wardrobe offers seamless access to an elegant ensuite bathroom. A bespoke upholstered headboard anchors the bedroom, setting a serene backdrop for restful nights.
