Arthouse
Understated
This Arthouse project forms part of a redesigned apartment in King’s Cross, delivered in collaboration with Katie McCrum Studio. Styled for a family living abroad, the brief focused on creating calm, practical joinery that maximised storage while sitting comfortably within an open-plan living space.
The kitchen runs along a single wall behind the main seating area and includes all essential integrated appliances. Micro-shaker and flush cabinetry was finished in a satin spray, with handleless base units achieved through chamfered door edges to keep the design clean and understated. Brushed brass handles and tap introduce warmth, paired with a Caesarstone Frosty Carrina worktop for a light, neutral finish. A timber-effect Xylocleaf shelf with antique mirrored backing breaks up the wall units, adding depth and reflected light, while Little Greene French Grey Pale cabinetry and durable Egger internal carcasses complete the scheme.
