This light and airy kitchen combines muted greys with bold blues to create a striking and contemporary design. The kitchen is part of a large open-plan space and HUX designed the sleek cabinetry in a two-tone grey and white matt lacquer finish, with open oak shelving taking centre stage to create a feature wall and display the client’s ornaments and utensils. This central area also houses the sink and is cleverly sandwiched between two runs of tall units that house pantry, fridge freezer and a row of horizontal ovens set in line with the worktop.
A two-tiered stainless-steel and composite quartz island is another focal point in the space, with shark-nosed detailing on the edge profile. The breakfast bar set at a 90-degree angle, designed specifically as an informal eating area. HUX also designed a bespoke teal blue leather banquette with a bookcase behind to define the dining area and work as a room divider on the broken-plan layout. The industrial-style pendants and splashy artworks give this area a diner-like vibe.

“We employed HUX to design, make and install joinery in an apartment in Central London. Their work was efficient, speedy, tidy and of high quality. I would not hesitate to employ them again.”Key Interiors
