A Contemporary Luxury Apartment Home in Kensington

We had the pleasure of working with Twin One to bring their client’s vision to life in this beautiful Kent House project. The client’s brief was clear: maintain all the period features of the property while incorporating a clean, contemporary design style with a natural and earthy colour palette. kitchen

The kitchen is designed to be both functional and visually striking. Situated mainly on one wall, the compact kitchen makes efficient use of space while still delivering a strong design impact. The worktop features a bold granite material that adds a touch of luxury to the space, with Little Greene Obsidian Green base cabinets providing a stunning contrast against the colour of the wall units.

The matte sprayed finish on the cabinets gives a sleek and modern appearance, with the addition of Armac Martin Edgbaston brass handles providing an air of elegance and sophistication.

Since storage optimisation was a key focus of this project, HUX also created built in storage for the fridge freezer and utility appliances that are discreetly concealed within the adjacent kitchen wall, seamlessly tailored to the unique layout of the space.

Living room

The living room in Kent House features refined fireplace alcoves that showcase HUX’s attention to detail and craftsmanship. The tailor-made cabinetry is designed with a perfect blend of practicality and aesthetic appeal, providing storage space for books, display items, and decorations.

The clean lines and natural finishes of the cabinetry complement the fireplace and the overall design style of the house, creating a cohesive and sophisticated look. Our clever use of lighting not only highlights intricate details but also creates a welcoming and homely atmosphere.

study

Moving to the study, the joinery in this room features Egger Cashmere Grey materials, which provide a contemporary and muted colour palette. The open shelving is crafted with Kronospan Coffee Urban Oak, adding warmth and texture to the space. The combination of Cashmere Grey and Urban Oak creates a harmonious balance between modern and natural elements, making the study a cosy and inviting space for work or relaxation.

bedroom

In the bedroom, HUX London crafted bespoke wardrobes and floating shelves that exude luxury and elegance. Our design team chose a matte sprayed finish in natural colours to blend with the overall design style of the house. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is evident in every aspect of the design, from the Egger internals to the carefully chosen handles and hardware.
